FFM Integrations Now Expire Faster
Effective August 29, 2025, CMS now requires all FFM integrations to expire after 30 minutes of inactivity, replacing the previous 12-hour window. HealthSherpa sessions remain active, but reintegration is required before continuing Marketplace tasks such as opening client details, completing applications, syncing, uploading documents, or re-syncing. Tasks like Georgia applications, quoting, and general administration remain unaffected, though background connections may still trigger reintegration prompts.
NABIP and NAIFA have raised concerns over workflow disruptions and broker friction during open enrollment, but the policy is fully implemented with no extensions announced. For support, agents can contact CMS at FFMProducer-AssisterHelpDesk@cms.hhs.gov or reach out to HealthSherpa directly.
